Thule – Gate Mate Tailgate Pad

Thule’s Gate Mate Tailgate Bicycle Pad is a great alternative solution for transporting your bikes using your pickup truck. It’s made of ultra durable heavy-duty vinyl with foam padding protecting both your tailgate and bikes. The bicycle pad is available in two different sizes 823 – 54″ for compact trucks and 824 – 62″ for full-size pickups. The Gate Mate bicycle pad has integrated “knock-blocks” which help prevent your bikes from sliding off the edge of the pad and onto your bare tailgate causing damage to your vehicle or bike. Thule has incorporated a handle hood allowing for convenient access to tailgate handle without pad removal. Sturdy nylon straps and anchors help keep pad securely attached to your tailgate.
